In 1990, FISH Unlimited was created as a national clean water and fisheries conservation membership organization. Now, with over 8,400 members, we are dedicated to eliminating water pollutants and to returning the stocks of finfish and shellfish to their optimum sustainable yield.
Developed after four years of research, the FISH Unlimited Fish Tagging Program is the safest fish tagging program in the world. Tags clip on any fish's dorsal, tail or pectoral fin and are individually numbered.
The Adopt-A-Fish program is a perfect activity for families, clubs, schools or individuals who want to make a difference in the preservation and study of finfish.
A campaign to educate the public about the plight of the vanishing swordfish. Once abundant, the swordfish is now on the verge of extinction because of over-fishing worldwide.
